Our Eco-schools programme was featured in Nord Vaudois newspaper La Région

“When my sister started Eco-Schools, I didn’t really know what it was. As soon as I saw what she was doing, I always wanted to join. Now I’ve signed up to join the committee and I’m so happy”, says Inès, a member of the Eco-Committee of the primary and secondary school of Chavornay et environs (EPSCE).

J’aime ma Planète congratulates the EPSCE for its unfailing commitment to sustainability. In 2020, the school obtained the Eco-Schools Award for the creation of an educational garden on its campus to promote and raise awareness of local biodiversity. A project that brought together students, teachers, parents, the municipal authorities and even the cantonal authorities.

This year, the school takes part in the Eco-schools adventure again, this time with the objective of tackling the theme of waste! A big thank you to Nord Vaudois La Région for this beautiful article which illustrates the ins and outs of a magnificent Eco-Schools project.
