The young reporters tell us more about their investigation!

At the beginning of this year, the young reporters are going to the field to complete their research and interview people who, through an initiative or their profession, develop and propose a solution for sustainable development. This is an opportunity for J’aime ma Planète to accompany these young reporters and to learn more about their journalistic investigation. Today we meet with Rose, Jade and Noam, students of CIFOM in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

What sustainability issues are you investigating?

Nowadays, industrial cosmetics are everywhere and have a potential impact on our skin, but also on the environment. Within the framework of the YRE programme, we are interested in the theme of natural cosmetics.

Why did you choose this topic?

To make young people aware of this type of products and to show that we can act differently. We also want to deconstruct the preconceived ideas about these products, particularly in relation to price and smell. We hope that our journalistic article will be a real awareness-raising tool.

Who did you interview?

We met Charlotte Houmard, founder of the company “CHA.cosmetics” in La Chaux-de-Fonds. She places the quality and proximity of raw materials at the center of her cosmetic productions, as well as the “package-free”. The interview gave us a good insight into this field.
